Here’s a house I drive by on my commute. Love the massiveness of the stone facade & the slate shingles. The house just looks like it’s strong.

My wife was really pushing me to clear this bank of all the tall weeds. Finally I got to it. Now if I could only keep it clear…
I drive by this place quite often and don’t really pay attention to it, funny how most people tend to overlook our surroundings. Anyway the bars do make it look like the cars in this garage/lot are imprisoned. This is the lot under Borgia Hall at Saint Joseph’s University on City Avenue.
Happened to be pumping some gas & decided to snap this close-up. If you look real close you can see the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. logo is stamped on the side of the metal ring. Never really thought about who makes these things.
Tough to get a good macro shot but I did my best with this one, hand-held with
my 50mm 1.8.
